1. Access
Gigi's Klim World is open to visitors who meet the applicable access conditions.
Access to Gigi's Klim World requires a minimum height of 130 cm. Staff may check at the entrance whether a visitor meets this condition.
The Gigi's Klim World ticket gives access to Gigi's Klim World and to Spelen bij Beelen.
2. Tickets
Tickets can be bought through the official Gigi's Klim World website or at the desk at the Spelen bij Beelen entrance.
Gigi's Klim World works with time slots. The time slot on the ticket determines when the visitor has access to the attraction.
A ticket is only valid for the date and time slot for which it was bought.
Tickets are not refunded after purchase and cannot be cancelled. You can change the date and time slot of your ticket, so you can come at another time.
Tickets may not be resold commercially without the permission of Gigi's Klim World.
3. Prices and payment
Current ticket prices are shown on the website and at the desk.
Payment can be made using the payment options offered at the time of purchase.
Any promotions, discounts and special rates only apply under the conditions stated with that promotion.
4. Children and the responsibility of parents and carers
Children may only visit Gigi's Klim World under the responsibility of their parent, legal representative or carer.
Parents and carers are at all times responsible for the children they accompany.
Parents and carers must make sure children follow the safety rules and staff instructions.
Supervision by Gigi's Klim World staff does not replace the responsibility of parents or carers.
5. Safety
Safety comes first at Gigi's Klim World.
Visitors must always follow the instructions of our staff. Our staff may give visitors instructions and, when safety requires it, deny visitors access to certain parts.
Dangerous, reckless or disruptive behaviour is not allowed.
It is not allowed to deliberately endanger other visitors or to use the climbing course in any way other than intended.
If a visitor does not follow the safety rules, access to Gigi's Klim World may be refused or the visitor may be removed from the attraction. In that case there is no right to a refund of the ticket.
6. Health and physical fitness
Visitors are themselves responsible for judging whether they are physically able to take part in the activities at Gigi's Klim World.
Visitors with health complaints, injuries or other circumstances that may make participation irresponsible are advised to seek medical advice beforehand.
If there is doubt about safe participation, a member of staff may decide that a visitor may not take part.
7. Clothing and personal belongings
Visitors should wear comfortable clothing in which they can move freely.
Loose items, jewellery and other things that could be dangerous while climbing must be put away beforehand when staff ask for this.
Gigi's Klim World is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
8. Food and drink
Gigi's Klim World has a food and drink outlet. The prices and conditions that apply there are shown on site.
9. Liability
Gigi's Klim World takes appropriate measures to ensure the safety of visitors.
Visitors take part in the activities at Gigi's Klim World on their own responsibility and must follow all safety rules and staff instructions.
As far as legally permitted, Gigi's Klim World is not liable for damage caused by a visitor not following safety rules, house rules or staff instructions.
This limitation of liability does not apply where liability may not be excluded or limited by law.
10. Damage
A visitor who causes damage to property of Gigi's Klim World, other visitors or third parties, deliberately or through culpable behaviour, may be held liable for it.
For damage caused by a minor, the parent or legal representative may be liable as far as the law provides.
11. Temporary closure and malfunctions
Gigi's Klim World may be closed temporarily, in whole or in part, for example because of technical malfunctions, maintenance, safety reasons, force majeure or other circumstances.
When an activity is temporarily unavailable, this does not automatically give a right to a refund or compensation.
When Gigi's Klim World has to close completely because of circumstances beyond our control, we look at which solution is possible case by case.
12. Behaviour
All visitors are expected to treat other visitors, staff and property with respect.
Aggressive, discriminatory, intimidating or other unwanted behaviour is not tolerated.
Gigi's Klim World reserves the right to deny access to, or remove from the attraction, visitors who do not follow the rules.
In such cases there is no right to a refund of the ticket.
13. Photo and video
Photos and videos may be taken in and around Gigi's Klim World for communication and promotional purposes.
Visitors who do not want to be recognisable in images can let a member of staff know.
In specific situations where separate consent is required, this consent is asked in advance.
14. Complaints
Do you have a complaint about your visit? Contact us as soon as possible at info@gigisklimworld.nl.
We try to resolve complaints as quickly and reasonably as possible.
15. Privacy
Our privacy statement applies to the processing of personal data.
16. Force majeure
Gigi's Klim World is not responsible for being unable, fully or partly, to provide its services when this results from circumstances it cannot reasonably influence.
These include, among others: technical malfunctions, power cuts, fire, extreme weather, government measures, illness, supplier failures and other unforeseen circumstances.
17. Changes
Gigi's Klim World reserves the right to change these terms and conditions.
The latest version is published on the Gigi's Klim World website.
18. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions and to the agreement between Gigi's Klim World and the visitor.
Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
